Las Vegas May
31 – June 3, 2009
Bill had to go
to Las Vegas for a business trip to attend the ARC/CSI Crash Conference so
Tyler and Alana decided to tag along and get some play time in. While there we
had a chance to catch up with one of Alana’s college roommates for a couple of
dinners. All three of us attended the first day of the conference, which was
full of crash testing at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Alana and Tyler spent
the morning there, but after a while the Vegas heat got to be too much and they
retired to the hotel room where they spent most of the afternoon resting. The
following day while Bill was at the conference Alana and Tyler took in the fun
at Circus Circus and spent most of the day there, riding the rides and winning
a few carnival games. Then the last day, Wednesday, we all got a little
sightseeing in and checked out the aquarium at Mandalay Bay and strolled down
the Strip a little bit to check out the M&M’s World store. Tyler was
literally a kid in a candy shop, four floors of chocolatey goodness.
